the social butterfly that waited
to Burst
out of its sheltered cocoon for so long.

the gossamer strings that served only
to Dangle
golden wings of freedom before our faces.
To Engage
in the classical dance of life;
to Feel
the vibrant pulse of a dynamic world around us.
To Go
beyond the boundaries that were set
to Hide
the thrilling dangers that we can discover.
To Ignite
within us that vital and everlasting flame of curiosity;
to Jump
into deep valleys no one had entered before.
To Kill
the overbearing lullabies that were only created
to Lull
us all into that sweet sense of calm security.
To Marry
ourselves to a delectable love for all things that exist
to Nullify
the textbook definitions of life and beings.
To Overlook
the lingering haze of the past in order
to Push
beyond the glass walls that have been trying
to Quell
our burning curiosity and need
to Reach
far, so far into a future with enough brilliance
to Shimmer
on and on for countless existences.
To Taste
the thrilling pleasure of freedom and the ability
to Use
our given gems of life to make everlasting masterpieces and
to Visualize
art never considered before.
To Want
the chance
to X
out everything that has restrained us so we are free
to Yell
to the heavens our will
to Zoom
through the ages of all humanity and forever on.

to open the long lost box of alphabet blocks
and throw them upwards
towards a sky of limitless possibility
into endless, glorious combinations that
define, in indefinite ways,
all that we can be.
